Glenwood Cemetery is designed in the tradition of other romantic rural cemetery parks of the 19th century. It is a beautiful landscape with towering trees providing the visitor a place of quiet respite just one mile west of downtown Houston. Well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs may accompany their owners to Glenwood, provided they are on a leash under the control of a responsible adult at all times. Dog owners are expected to clean up waste and remove it from the cemetery and to carry supplies for that purpose.
