Ridge to Rivers Trails is an interconnected network of roads and trails coursing through the Boise Idaho Foothills, linking neighborhoods with public lands. With over 190 miles of trail, the trail system provides a variety of experiences and opportunities. Dogs are welcome on the trails. Most trails require you to have your dog on-leash at all times. On Controlled Off-Leash Trails, dog owners still must carry a leash and waste bag with them, and their dogs should not be further than 30 feet away at any time.
