Located at 3 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk, NY 11954, Kirk Park Beach is on South Emerson Avenue next to the IGA. Open year-round; open for swimming from 9am-5pm when the lifeguards are on duty and within the designated areas only. Summer Season (May 15 – Sept 15): Dogs are permitted only before 10:00 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m. During these allowed hours, supervised dogs can run freely (Montauk does not have a strict leash law, but dogs must be under strict voice control). Off-Season (Sept 16 – May 14): All daytime restrictions are lifted, and dogs are welcome on the sand at any time.
