Located at 8002 Gambrill Park Road, Frederick, MD 21702, Rock Run Campground in Gambrill State Park has 13 basic sites, nine tent-only sites and six sites with electrical hookup. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and lantern post. A dump station is available for sewage and potable water. A bathhouse is located at the center of the campground, with hot showers and flush-toilets. Open annually from the first weekend in April to the last weekend in October. Reservations are now required through the entire season. Pets on a leash are allowed in the campground, on all trails, and in day-use area.
