Located at 8300 Desoto Memorial Hwy, Bradenton, FL 34209, De Soto National Memorial commemorates the 1539 landing of Hernando de Soto and the first extensive organized exploration by Europeans of what is now the southern United States. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the park.
