Located at 3201 Clay St, Vicksburg, MS 39183, Vicksburg National Military Park commemorates the site of the Battle of Vicksburg, waged in 1863, and its significance as a critical turning point of the Civil War. Pets on a leash are allowed in the park, but are not permitted in visitor facilities or on the USS Cairo gunboat exhibit.
