Pets are allowed within Obed Wild & Scenic River, but must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. Located in Cumberland County, just south of Crossville, the 45 miles that comprise the river system includes whitewater runs that range from Class II to Class IV, rock climbing and boulder climbing, fishing, and hiking on several different trails at varying lengths. Camping is offered at Rock Creek Campground, and picnic benches and grills are provided at the Nemo Picnic Area. If you plan to go out on the river with your pet, make sure that you and your pet both have personal flotation devices.
