Within North Cascades National Park pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are only allowed on the Pacific Crest Trail, and within 50 feet of roads. Located just three hours from Seattle, the park is characterized by jagged peaks, deep forested valleys, cascading waterfalls, and over 300 glaciers. Pets on a leash are also allowed within the Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas, as well as on most surrounding US Forest Service lands.
