OFF-LEASH DOG BEACH. Located at 10800 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33154, Haulover Dog Beach is situated just a few miles north of Miami Beach, between Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach, in Hauler Beach Park. One of two public beach parks operated by Miami-Dade County, the 177-acre park has 1.4 miles of beach front. The park features a Bark Park with an enclosure for small dogs, less than 35 lbs., and one for large dogs, more than 35 lbs. Amenities include shade trees, picnic tables, drinking fountains for both dogs and their companions, doggie waste bag dispensers, waste containers, and plenty of open grassy space. Beach Access for Dogs: Open daily in the designated beach area between lifeguard towers #2 and #3 only. Dogs are welcome on the portion of the beach directly across from the bark park and accessible through parking lots #3 and #4. Dogs must be on a leash at all times except within the designated beach area.
