In Death Valley National Park, pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed along roads, in campgrounds, picnic areas, and other developed areas of the park. Pets are not permitted inside most buildings or on any park trails or in Wilderness. This also includes the boardwalks at Badwater and Salt Creek, and paved trails.
