Located at 864 Chicken Creek Rd, Kemmerer, WY 83101, Fossil Butte National Monument preserves the best paleontological record of Cenozoic aquatic communities in North America and possibly the world. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are welcome in the parking areas and on trails. Pets are not permitted inside the Visitor Center building.
