Located at 3501 Old Nashville Hwy, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, Stones River National Battlefield is a 570-acre park located along the Stones River three miles northwest of Murfreesboro and twenty-eight miles southeast of Nashville. The park memorializes the Battle of Stones River, a key battle of the American Civil War. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the park, but are not permitted in the Visitor Center.
