Located in southern Arizona on the outskirts of Tucson, Saguaro National Park protects the giant saguaro, the nation’s largest cacti. Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed only on roadways; picnic areas, except Mam- A-Gah picnic area in the west district as it is only accessible by trail; and paved trails (Desert Ecology Trail & Desert Discovery Trail). Pets are not permitted on any trails, off road, or inside either visitor center at any time.
