Pets on a leash no longer than 6 feet are allowed in the national forest, including in campgrounds and on trails. If you are traveling in a National Forest Wilderness, dogs are permitted. However, if you leave a National Forest Wilderness and enter into a National Park, dogs are not permitted. Pets are not permitted on any trails at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
