Sunol Regional Wilderness is a regional park in Alameda County, the eastern San Francisco Bay Area. The park features the Ohlone Wilderness Trail and Little Yosemite. The Wilderness Trail spans the length of the park and connects up to the Mission Peak Regional Preserve. Little Yosemite is a scenic gorge on the Alameda Creek; the Canyon View Trail leads into Little Yosemite. There are approximately 6-7 other popular trails ranging from 1.2 miles to over 7 miles. Dogs must be on leash in the parking areas, picnic areas, lawns and developed areas. Dogs can be off-leash on most of the trails, as long as they are under voice control.
